Meet the Guest: Victoria Gioia

Victoria Thain Gioia is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Perelel, the first and only female OB/GYN-founded vitamin company offering clinically-backed, targeted nutrition designed to meet the unique needs of women at various stages of their hormonal journey. Perelel’s formulations use exclusively high-quality ingredients in the most bioavailable formats, informed by the latest medical research and the founder’s clinical insights, to deliver essential nutrients specific to each life stage. Before founding Perelel, Victoria worked in finance and operations for several companies, including the Honest Company, Olive & June, and Carbon38. She graduated with honors from Harvard Business School and holds a bachelor's of science degree in mathematics from Duke University. Her diverse background in business and her commitment to improving women's health through scientifically grounded nutrition underscore her leadership at Perelel.

Meet the Host: Jaclyn Bowen

Jaclyn Bowen is a food safety and quality systems engineer, and executive director of Clean Label Project, a nonprofit consumer advocacy organization with the mission to bring truth and transparency to food and consumer product labeling. Previously, she held numerous technical, standards development, food safety, quality and executive roles within the World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre, NSF International. Bowen holds masters’ degrees in quality engineering and public health management & policy.
